🧠 What is this?

These grey hat hacks are a collection of things I've learned over nearly a decade of sending cold emails to generate new revenue.

Some of those things I've picked up probably shouldn't be used in cold email campaigns, or at least not by everyone.

I did however want to share them with you because they're just so flipping interesting.

And remember, don't try this at home..

👀 What can you expect?

#1 The "Fake Reply" Hack

Trick people into thinking you've already exchanged emails before and you're replying in the same thread (no, it's not adding Re: to your subject line...).

#2 The "Fake Intro" Hack

More black hat than grey hat: the "fake intro" hack.

People are busy and this hack capitalizes on that and uses confusion to try and trick people into booking a meeting.

#3 The "Fake Fwd" Hack

More clever than grey hat: the "fake Fwd:" hack. Loop people into a fake internal conversation, use their email address & names for personalization and to make things look legit, and watch your reply rates skyrocket.

#4 The "Iphone" Hack

Again, more clever than grey hat: the "iphone" hack. Make your emails seem even more effortless and non-automated by pretending you've sent them from your phone.

#5 The "Oops" Hack

With the "oops" hack you're making yourself look more human than ever at the risk of looking like an idiot. Some people might even call you that (trust me, they will..).

It's a hack that works great however and it's also a great way of getting the attention of your prospect twice within a very small timeframe.

#6 This is the "Anti-SPAM" Hack

The "anti-SPAM" hack is a nifty way of dealing with some of the 'SPAM-laws' that are in place, without having to sacrifice the natural looks of your emails.
